So You Think You Can Cook Chili Cook-Off

Join us for the 11th Annual So You Think You Can Cook Chili Cook-Off, January 30th, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Country Club of Spartanburg. Proceeds will benefit the students at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind. Teams of Community Leaders will showcase their favorite chili recipe and showcase their love of Spartanburg as we celebrate the town we live in. Guests will be able to taste each of the chili recipes and cast votes for their favorite chili. 

Tickets are $65 each in advance $75 at the door. This includes Chili Tasting, Appetizers, Open Bar, Valet Parking, and Entertainment.

In keeping with tradition we will have 3 Award categories: Judge’s Choice, Best Table Presentation, and People’s Choice.

Judge’s Choice

It’s time to impress the BEST! You will need to challenge yourself and bring your best recipe to impress this year’s SPICY panel of distinguished judges.

Our fantastic judges will be judging on taste, aroma, and originality! Please refrain from bribing the judges!

Best Table Presentation

This has been an absolutely crazy year.  In the midst of all that, heroes have emerged.  This year we celebrate all the heroes of our world, both imaginary and real.  Take your station to the next level and get creative!

People’s Choice (Begins January 2nd)

Teams will gather at the Country Club of Spartanburg to prove they can COOK chili!  Each has something to prove…but only ONE is worthy of the ultimate title—PEOPLE’S CHOICE!

Friends, family, colleagues, anyone can purchase votes in advance to support your team!!!  Votes are $1 each and can be purchased online, by calling SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation at (864) 577-7583, or at the event.  This is your chance to tell your friends near and far to VOTE EARLY & VOTE OFTEN!!!
